“In labor, you have to know that things can change at any moment — you have to be flexible,”

Hello BabyCon Families!

A lot is going on in the BabyCon world and I just wanted to share some information that you will find helpful (or at least encouraging). While we wait out this crazy epidemic in our homes with the "Stay at Home Initiative", there is a lot of information to filter through.

As a mother myself, with a 12 year old, 8 year old, and 8 month old (all boys... #outnumbered), I want to know the things that are going to be affecting me and my family directly.

Our Keynote speaker, Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith, has sent an easy to read and informative article regarding COVID-19 and pregnancy, as well as what to anticipate if you are in your third trimester and are anticipating your tiny human's arrival.

Hospital procedures have changed because of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the virus, and it is something that all expecting families should be prepared for. Here is the link to the article: https://www.propublica.org/article/coronavirus-and-pregnancy-expecting-mothers-q-and-a

If you have any questions regarding the article, please feel free to drop a comment and I can pass it on to our doctors to answer! Just a little taste of what to expect at BabyCon in August!
